Sharp PC-1403 Clipart
Released in 1986, the Sharp PC-1403 has a 24 character LCD. The physical size of the LCD has remained the same as in the 1402, resulting in a stretched aspect ratio for the 5x7 characters, just like the PC-1460 (they share the same screen). The unit is powered by the same SC61860 CPU as many other 8-bit 14xx units running at a clock speed of 768 kHz. The unit came with 8kb of RAM, of which 6878 bytes were user accessible. Although you lost 2800 bytes of RAM compared to the PC-1402, you gained 8 LCD characters, lower case letters as well as matrix functions.
